The stay kawa be positive campaign season one by Talent Walls ltd took place at Trust High School on Saturday 27th July 2019, from 2pm-5:30pm. There were a number of organizations, outsourced entertainers, companies and representatives from entities and they were as follows;
The attendees were students of Trust High school Kabubbu both O & A level, the head teacher and the staff of trust high school.
The above mentioned organizations and companies were as-well present through their various representatives.
The theme addressed at the stay kawa be positive campaign at Trust High school Kabbubu was education through talent.
The various topics addressed included; sexual reproductive health, mental health, educational values, personal hygiene and talent.
The speakers at the event were those that represented the different organizations that took part in the stay kawa be positive campaign at Trust High school and they were as follows;

Mr. Mbaziira Brian from talent walls talked about talent walls, its mission, vision, programs and how they run. He as well informed them about the stay kawa be positive campaign and its purpose. He introduced the talent walls team and mentioned the fact that all of them have talents where by one of them was asked to showcase it for the students to further understand it practically.. He asked some students to join him on stage so as to illustrate the programs that talent walls runs. He said that people with talents should always be active whenever they get such opportunities and emphasized discipline since success of one’s talent moves in hand with discipline.
Mr. Ishaque Nsubuga and Meddy Nsubuga recited a poem about facts of life and this included having talent. They told students to always write poems about what’s taking place in their lives and also write what they feel at heart. They told the students that doing poetry is part of self-employment which was the reason they were at the school to perform. They also gave a chance to those students who were talented in writing and reciting poems to do it and registered their names giving them a chance to attend one of their shows for free at national theatre. They also taught the students on how to make their poems interesting.
Mr. Buyinza from Reproductive health Uganda talked about sexual reproductive health in which they sensitized the students about sexually transmitted diseases and infections, how someone can acquire them, how to prevent and to speak up to their parents or guardians if the same happens such that they can get treatment since their health comes first. They as-well talked about personal hygiene where they advised the boys to bath and as-well advised all the students their toilet & bathrooms clean so as to avoid contracting such diseases.
Mr. Adilu Geoffrey and Ms. Hope from Cyclops defense systems talked about security, its importance to the community and the whole nation at large. They informed the audience about Cyclops defense systems and what it ventures in which is security for people and their property. They went ahead to point out the various kinds of security which includes security guards, security items which include surveillance cameras, gun teasers and many others. They went ahead to ask the school if they do have fire extinguishers and if the students know how to use them. They as-well encouraged administration of Trust high school to highly consider security of the school, its property, the students and their property as-well. They concluded by promising the school two fire extinguishers depending on how they were to later discuss and agree with the school administration.
Ms. Maria and Mr. Moses from mental health focus Uganda spoke about self-esteem and confidence. They had an interactive session with the students just so to make the session practical. They spoke about self- respect and speaking up to the right personnel’s in situations. They encouraged students to always respect one another, live in peace and read books together so that they avoid talking about each other which may affect their academics mentally.
Mr. Emmanuel from awesome mind speaks had time to speak about his organization and their event keep chatty which was to happen soon and it was about “mental health and sexual reproductive health”. He as well advised the students to stay confident and disciplined.
The sessions were interactive, students were allowed to ask questions and as-well give submissions. At the end of all the sessions a number of students were selected to fill in the feedback forms about how the event turned out and what they learnt from the sessions.

The very last activity on the event was the panel selection. During this session the students were given a chance to come up on stage and give a performance according to their various talents. According to each category, the students were put up for a challenge where whoever won in their category was selected to be an ambassador or representative depending on their delivery. The selected ambassadors are the ones to represent their school in the various activities that Talent Walls will have in the future.
There were no challenges at the school as the programme went on well and the students were cooperative
The school is looking forward to more educative talks from the organizations partnering with talent walls.
The talented students as well need help in nurturing their talents.
