Born in Kampala and raised in Hoima City, famously known as Uganda’s “Oil City,” Tarley A is a rising star in the Afrobeat music scene. Growing up in a city rich in culture and ambition, Tarley discovered his love for music and performance during his school years. Despite struggling to fit in during high school, he found solace and a sense of belonging in music and drama, which became his creative escape and connection to others.

Influenced by global icons like Chris Brown and Wizkid, Tarley A began crafting a sound that blends rhythmic Afrobeat grooves with soulful storytelling. His music reflects both his personal journey and his aspirations, aiming to create a universal connection through relatable themes and infectious beats.

Tarley’s journey as a recording artist began with the release of two singles: “Mboko” and “Somebody”, which introduce listeners to his artistry and his unique approach to the Afrobeat genre. While still in the early stages of his career, Tarley is hard at work on his debut EP, a 6-song project that promises to showcase his growth, creativity, and versatility as an artist.
